I have a feeling that I'm going to be very sick of Harry Potter by Sunday! Andrew, Chantell, Aidan and myself will be watching the first two movies on Friday, the third and fourth on Saturday, then heading out to catch the fifth at the cinemas on Saturday afternoon. Although reviews have been somewhat scathing, I'm still looking forward to it. The weekend promises to be lots of fun!

Harry Potter mania starts. I didn't like the third movie but the fourth and the first two I liked very much.
Looks like it's gonna be a busy weekend for you. Not going to see it till next Saturday (july 20). My husband and I like to avoid the crowds during the first weekend of a movie.
But can't wait to get the book next week!
I am going on Friday.....the 13th.
I think there is a message there some where!
ur a HP fan Stace? OMG another one!
Keshi.
I haven't seen any of them yet but I love movie marathons! It's a wonderful way to while away a weekend.
Pass the popcorn please. :)
Menchie - I couldn't wait too much longer, and anyway we had to do this on a weekend when all four of us will be in the same city at the same time... not easy, these days!
Steve - very portentious! We're buying Marilyn Manson tickets today, Friday 13th :)
Keshi - me and the rest of the English-speaking world :)
Frankie - shouldn't that be wile, not while?!
I'm sorry Stace - that I'm only in town every second weekend!
this is really the first opportunity to do the marathon - which you guys suggested - and then go see number 5!
My daughter, who has read each of the books at least twice and got me into the whole genre, got dressed up as a Hogwarts girl with 10 of her friends and saw the movie on Wednesday.
Some of them even bought ties on EBay ($25 each, I think she was Luna Lovegood or someone from Griffindor or another house).
She liked the movie but said it wasn't as good as some of the others. Hope you enjoyed!
I'm going to wait for the next movie in the series when Hermione finally comes out of the closet and joins the local constabulary after staging a show stopping burlesque number in a cabaret featuring Freddy Mercury songs, Ron the Weasel quits turning tricks with muggle-borns at Heathrow and becomes a Real Estate Agent in Bath, and poor, despondent, Harry, having heard that Hermione switched teams only days after he charmed her and popped her cherry under Professor Filius Flitwick's desk, ODs in a filthy washroom in a scene right out of Trainspotting...
gasp...can't wait.
Well, in all honesty, I'm just not into Harry Potter, but I hope you have a great time with Aidan and your friends! When Daniel was younger and at home, he and I would have movie marathons here at home. It was such fun!
Lucky lucky lucky you, I love Harry Potter..review in order please :)
Isn't HE an arse? But I can't help but laugh...
