Some of you may already be aware that this time of year plays host to the World's Greatest Shave. Poor sods like me choose to shave their heads in support of Leukaemia research. I was a little early; the Shave doesn't officially start until Thursday, but since my hair was pissing me off, I bit the bullet and went for it.

This is me half an hour ago. With my accidental emo-fringe and very nearly a mullet.

This is what came off my head.

And this is me now!

For those of you who haven't yet, but would like to, you can support the cause by sponsoring me. Click on this link:

Yes well it's all very well for beautiful people like you. :) You really do look lovely bald. I won't shave, but I'll certainly donate. Good on you!

haha thanks very much FoxyMoron. I wasn't at all sure how it would look, but I figured hair grows back anyway and it's all in a good cause :)

Way to go. I hope Chris sent in our pledge 'cause I gave him the cash & instructions.

You're awesome Stace.

Wow - you look very different with no hair, even compared to when your hair is extreamly extreamly short.
- there's nothing fishy about that.
- but you know that you didn't have to shave off your necklace, don't you?

Donn - thanks dude :) I haven't got anything from you guys; did you use the website or post something?

Andrew - The necklace was an accident ;)

Elizabeth - yes, yes I do ;) lol

You are so brave AND generous, Stace! AND now you won't have to bother with your hair for awhile! That must be nice! *smile* I can't imagine shaving my head. My hair is down to my waist and hasn't been cut for over thirty years!
