For the record, the shortness of breath/hot flush/blurred vision thing happened again this morning. Passed reasonably quickly, felt fine afterwards, didn't see a doctor this time.

Stace.... girl, get yourself to a doctor. It's not only you who is affected by this. Elspeth is too. And if something happens to you, it also happens to her.

You don't want to play with fire, now, do you?

My doctor is closed on Saturday afternoons, unfortunately. I'm not spending another three or four hours on going to the emergency department to be told nothing appears to be wrong. Last time I went to hospital AND my GP, and between them they checked my blood pressure, vision, nervous system, listened to baby's heartbeat... everything except a urine test, which I'll be having early next week anyway...

Wellllll... okay then... but make sure your GP knows about this attack too! Call him/her first thing Monday.

I'll be keeping my nurse's eye on you! :-)

Stace,

I was looking at your interests and saw: serial killers.

My father was murdered, decapitated, boiled and flushed down the toilet by infamous British serial killer Dennis Nilsen. I've just finished writing about this on my blog... maybe you'd like to read?

If not, excuse me for disturbing you.

Best Wishes, Shane.

Ps: sorry it's off subject & i hope you're feeling better.

Cazzie - that's quite a small baby! Was it prem??

Herionhead - I've just had a look of your blog, thanks very much for sharing. Even though it must have been forty years ago, I'm sorry for your loss.

Yes, the baby was prem, not by much though, and the thing is, she always has small-ish babies, she is of Aboriginal descent.
Also, I just visited my cousin this weekend. She is almost 20 weeks pregnant. She says she hs felt the way you do at times. For her, she just needed more rest (hard with 5 kids) and more iron in her diet. She began drinking sustagen drinks. She says it has made some difference, fingers crossed.
