I bought some boxes today. One more step towards moving! I haven't actually packed anything into them yet - I don't know where to start! I could only buy a pack of 10 boxes, since I had to carry them home... I don't have a car. So what can I do with 10 boxes? They won't fit all the books, not even half, and they probably won't take all the movies/cds either... but I have to start somewhere!

Well, what I would do is set the boxes on a table somewhere or maybe just on the floor - perhaps in a stack of five each on either side of the television?

Then I would admire them and congratulate myself for having taken this first, important step towards actually doing some packing. I'd probably have a drink or two to celebrate. After all, it's not every day I demonstrate foresight AND decorate around the tv.

You're welcome. :)

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step"
Lao Tzu

How is that for invoking a 'Lao Tzee' tired cliche?

Frank, I think that's a really good idea. I might do that this afternoon after work :)

My Lord, extremely Lao Tzee! Somewhat true, though.

so the boxes are the small ones?

I suggest you pack the books that you not gonna read in the next two weeks - or want to read i.e. Aidan's sceince books! His grug books, and the little men series!

that should take about 3 boxes - and then start packing the bathroom stuff you not going to use - another box.

computer stuff not going to be used...

then allowing lots of time start packing the other books!

as soon as you pack the dvds/cds you will wanna listen to them! :)

You could pack a cactus. Or ten kittens. I dunno, I think I might be insane right now...

Chantell, I'm just packing whatever I find first. It seems easier. If I want anything I've packed, I'll buy a new copy of it!!!

Fathorse, I could pack ten kittens in with a cactus...
