Five Weeks

Feeling:

    Tired, very tired

    Irritable

    Weepy

    Sore bosoms

    Flatulence

Fortunately no morning sickness to speak of, I suppose I should count my blessings!

In non-pregnancy related news: What I Did On My Weekend

The local NaNoWriMo kick-off lunch was held at the Pancake Parlour in Civic, so I went along to that. There's always something weird about a gathering of people who, almost be definition, are anti-social nerds. (Who else would volunteer to write 50,000 words in one month?) But it was a lot of fun, and the ideas being kicked around really helped me with my "novel". So I'm glad I went.

Also, I wrote a lot. I've got just over 8,000 words now, and a public holiday tomorrow on which to do a whole lot more. Hooray!

I think that it's so cool that you are writing...keep going.

Aidan is one lucky bastard. Everyman dreams of having a wife who is tired, irritable, weepy, flatulent and has sore bosoms...
it's just not fair that one guy can have it all.

OK so now I guess you can give him the bad news!

Hi Stace,
I didn't realise that females farted. I have always said that the Pancake Parlour has a creative environment. I thought you ACTians had Monday and Tuesday off as holidays?
cheers
Andrew

Donny Boy - I'm the lucky one, with a husband who puts up so well with all of the above!!! :)

Andrew - we have Tuesday off, but not Monday. They don't call it Cup Day here, even though it is. They call it Family and Community Day, or something weird like that :)

Sleep, cry and fart. You'll feel much better. ;)

You should know, Hilary... I'll give it a try ;)

Stace, everything is normal and you are lucky to not be puking your guts out too. I will keep my fingers crossed that you don't get morning sickness!

Warm hugs to you and Aiden. This is a momentous journey the three of you are on. And this is only the very beginning.

I have to go see what else you have written....
