You'll be pleased to hear that I stopped wallowing in my self-pity on Sunday, and went out for lunch with my dear friend Andrew The Clown instead! Pizza, aimless wanders, putting paper cones on our noses... all the usual stuff we do when unencumbered by common sense! (Such a misnomer, it's not really common at all.)

And now for something completely different: I had a haircut on Saturday. For the past 24 years my hair has more or less "flopped". Now I am styling it and using product in it. Weird. I'm not very good at it yet, but hopefully I'll get used to it! I also dyed it blonde again (it had been purple for a couple of months).

Good for you, going out for lunch and pampering your do. That will be a nice surprise for your hubby when he gets back too :)

Can you post a picture of your hair?

LOL, I used to have purple hair. And pink. And green. Think I was one of the original Posh-Punks ;-)

Cazzie - he saw the cut, but not the colour :)

Andrew - you saw it yesterday! I'll try to take a picture tonight, but it's hard to photograph the back of your own head.

Bibi - my hair colour has changed roughly every 2 months for the last couple of years... purple, red (several shades of), orange, blue, green, brown, blonde, and probably a few others I've forgotten :)

Whew....I was relieved to hear that you've changed your hair colors often, Stace. *grin* I mean, going from purple to blonde. LOL I thought it might have been a bit of a shock to Aidan. I've always had medium brown hair which is slowly turning silverish. (silver sounds better than gray, hm? *smile*)

We definitely need a pic.
Product is such a terse sounding term for gel..do you suppose that hairdressers have a secret society that ordained the use of hairspeak to make the industry sound more educated and uppity?
Let's face it Lawyers, Doctors, Accountants, Scientists, Mechanics, Plumbers and Religious Organizers all have their own lingo...everybody needs their own language.
