Fifteen Days

Yes, that’s right folks. In 15 days I will be a Mrs. A married lady. Grown up, adult, mature... well, that’s the theory. I just feel normal. I’m counting down, I’ve organised the whole darn thing, but I still just feel like me. I can’t quite grasp the reality of the wedding and being married. I’m sure, for Aidan and I, everything will continue pretty much as usual... except for the trivialities of sharing a surname and a bank account. It will, in fact, make things simpler. Not to mention, of course, that it is the ultimate celebration of our undying love for each other. That’s important too.

Yes, I have been married 11 years now, and we have lived together for many more years than that! Nothing changed, excepting the bloody hard surname to spell and pronounce out to every SOB out there, LOL.
I would have been better off to leave my name, at work at least, as the maiden name, it was easier to pronounce and spell. But then again, it is not why we get ,married, it is our love that is the reason. Love aint changed a bit, it is still stonger than ever..don't go pewkin on me now, LOL. After 4 kids and all, we still got it covered :)
Have a great time won't you? I did all our wedding plans and arrangements and it was over in a jiffy. I danced ALL NIGHT, my cheeks bloody hurt like mad for all the smiling I did ALL DAY and I got people to come see me if they wanted to chat..on the dance floor baby!! LOL

WooHooo!
I hate to bring this up but my wife kept her maidan name (it was our second) and I somehow managed to convince her that my proprietary rights over her reproductive system and fragile male ego would remain intact.HA!
I hope that you take lots of pics for us and wish you two the best of love!
It will be whatever you make of it.

I also want to see all of the Baboon antics mimicked by Aida on your honeymoon...er..the ones on the safari anyway. Don't get too close. Those buggers are badass monkeys!

I won't be keeping my name, I'll be Mrs Aidan! Seems easier in general.
