Explain something to me...

Australia is a big country. A young country, developing, half empty! So our government is insistent upon tightening immigration laws, effectively limiting growth potential and the “multiculturalism” the politicians claim to value so highly.

Sadly I’m at work and have little time to blog. But the above is food for thought anyway. Mmmm food...

Hi Lee, nice to see you here :) But don't expect too much from my blog... Aidan is the thinker in the family! I just write crap :)

So he is your brother?

Brother? No! Fiance! We're getting married in November.

brother :P
Per capita we are in the top ten for imigration... We are a massive country but it is mostly uninhabitable. Desert, arid landscape, remote (western Australia) or Sydney. Size doesnt tell the full tale of the tape so to speak.

The main issue is the human rights component. MAndatory detention and exlcusion zones, off shore processing.

OK, I've done all the exploring I need to and find out you and Aidan are tying the knot in November.

Well, congratulations!!!!

We all want to see the wedding pictures, now!

Now, about Australia being a large country...have a look at Canada! I don't know how many Australias could fit in here, I'll have to look...

Well, we're almost a family! Not a very big one, admittedly, unless you count our four goldfish...
